Back 2 the classics is a brand new event being run by the promotors of Goodtimes / Happy Days & Green. This promises to be be a wicked night and one im really looking forward to playing at, this event also see the return of myself to djing after a much needed break. Bass Freakz is a new name in hardstyle that myself and Dj Bruxx have started due to our passion for dutch Hardstyle music, over the coming months we will be working on many Hardstyle tracks of our own as we look to push forward our own hardstyle sound. Myself and Bruxx have produced various Hardcore tracks in the past couple of years and now were taking it further with even more productions to come.

The first Bass Freakz track is almost finished so keep checking our new Facebook page for updates on our tracks and events we will be playing at.

Hi all, well its been a while since any updates of my site... mainly due to not being able to access my webspace in order to keep it updated...

Having taken a back seat of all things music for the last few months im finally getting back on track and now working on new productions and gettin new mixes done which will be hosted in the mixes section very soon, also i am in the process of setting up Porkpie Promotions with the aim of promoting up and coming dj's & artists who i feel have a good talent that need that extra push to help them realise there dreams in the same way i was helped many years ago, its my way of giving something back to the music scene that ive gained so much from myself over the years..

In may this year i took the decision to stop playing hardcore after many years of playing at some of the best events around, this is something i am beginning to regret as i am missing it very much but for the time being im going to stick with that decision and pursue my other music choice which is oldskool house, italia house and even hardhouse. Just recently i have been attending various oldskool & italia events in the northwest and i have to say they are absolutly rocking and my eyes have been opened up so much more since the decision to quit hardcore. Hopefully very soon i will be out playing at these events and maybe one day i will make a return to hardcore doing what ive always enjoyed and that is entertaining you the ravers.

Over the next few months i will be keeping this site updated as much as i can and most of the time i can be found on facebook ( Dj Benson ) so keep checking back here and facebook for latest news on where i am and what im upto and hopefully i will see you all out and about at an event near you very soon...

Latest update - as of 26th may 2009 im no longer taking bookings for hardcore events, i am still taking bookings tho for oldskool, italia house, trance.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me in the last 15 years in the hardcore scene and to all the promotors who have booked me for there events, ive been a long time in hardcore but now feel its time to move on and go back to my origanal roots where i first started playing back in 1990, i may still write hardcore tracks, just not djing hardcore...
